What I Feel

I cannot feel my heart.

I can feel my stomach bulging,

my lungs struggling to find breath

I can feel my nose clogged up

and my eyelids asking to see dreams.

I can feel my back tired,

and my arms sore and small,

I can feel my legs that move me,

but I cannot feel my heart.
